The terms for using these free calculators. Results are estimates built on geometry and published specifications, always verify with your carrier before shipping.
Acceptance
By using Palletly you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all of the calculators and reference pages, including the pallet calculator, CBM, dimensional weight and container tools.
What the calculators are
Palletly provides free dimensional, weight and volume calculators. They are informational tools that apply fixed geometry, published pallet and container specifications, and standard carrier divisors. They are not professional, logistics, legal or financial advice, and they do not create any relationship between you and us beyond ordinary use of a website.
Results are estimates, verify before shipping
Every result is an estimate. In particular:
- Fit calculations (pallets per container, boxes per pallet) assume single-orientation, axis-aligned packing. Real loads can differ because of mixed orientations, overhang, dunnage, load bars and weight distribution.
- Freight class is estimated from density only. Since July 2025 the NMFC system is largely density-based and is revised periodically, so you must verify the current classification with your carrier or NMFTA.
- Dimensional weight depends on the divisor and rounding your carrier actually applies under your contract.
Always confirm load plans, weights and classifications with the party that will physically move your freight before you book or ship.
What we don't provide
We do not quote, calculate or advise on shipping cost, rates, surcharges, customs, duty, tax or insurance. Those are outside the scope of this site by design. The methodology for what we do calculate is documented on the how we calculate page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law. The site, its text and its design are provided for your personal and business use; please do not republish the reference content wholesale as your own.
No warranty
The site and its calculators are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We work to keep specifications and formulas correct, but we do not guarantee that every figure is free of error.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the calculators or reference content, including decisions made about loading, shipping or classification. You use the results at your own risk and remain responsible for verifying them.
Third-party links and advertising
The site shows advertising and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those third parties. How advertising and cookies work is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms or the calculators at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions can go to the contact page.
