Questions, corrections or feedback on the calculators? Here is how to reach us and what to include so we can help quickly.

Get in touch

We welcome questions, bug reports and corrections about any calculator on Palletly. Email is the best way to reach us:

hello@palletly.org

We read every message, though we cannot promise an individual reply to general questions.

What we can help with

We are happy to hear about:

  • Wrong results or arithmetic, if a pallet calculator count, a CBM figure or a dimensional weight looks off, tell us the exact inputs.
  • Incorrect specifications, a pallet footprint, container interior or carrier divisor that does not match the published standard.
  • Feature requests, a pallet standard, container type or unit you would like added.
  • Broken pages or display problems, including the browser and device you were using.

What to include

So we can reproduce an issue without a back-and-forth, please include:

  1. The page URL (for example /dimensional-weight-calculator).
  2. The exact values you entered, dimensions, unit, pallet or container, and divisor.
  3. The result you saw and the result you expected, with your reasoning if you have it.

A correction with the source it should match (a published standard or a carrier's own divisor) is especially useful and helps us fix things faster.

What we can't help with

We cannot quote shipping cost, rates, customs, duty or tax, and we cannot tell you the official freight class for a commodity, that is set by a density-based NMFC system that changes periodically, so your carrier or NMFTA is the right source. For how each calculator works, the how we calculate page already documents every formula and its limits, and the about page explains the scope of the site.

Frequently asked questions

How do I report a wrong calculation?
Email hello@palletly.org with the page URL, the exact inputs you used (dimensions, unit, pallet or container, and divisor), and the result you expected. That lets us reproduce and fix it without extra questions.
Can you tell me my shipping cost or freight class?
No. We do not handle pricing, customs or tax, and we only estimate freight class from density. For a binding rate or classification, contact your carrier or NMFTA directly.
Will you add a pallet or container size that's missing?
Possibly, send us the standard and its published dimensions. We add sizes when they have a clear, documented footprint or interior that we can calculate against accurately.
